Reading is Fun and Fundamental!

Reading is the foundation to a successful life. Research supports the notion that the size of a child's home library drastically increases their academic success, vocabulary development, attention, and job attainment. Even if we love our eReader tablets, we love the feel of a book in our hands even more. Millcreek is very fortunate to have a book vending machine in our school. Our intention is to help our students develop a love of reading and to help build their first libraries. We are looking for donations of new and like-new age and content appropriate books to keep our book vending-machine well stocked.
