The only way that students could use this tool and still meet the state data sharing laws is through an education account where students create an account with a code. Students may not just create their own account because then they will be subject to targeted advertising.The privacy policy also specifically states that students must be 13 years of age AND have parent permission. They have apermission form that parents must sign and must be submitted. (See section 6. Children's Privacy in theprivacy policy page.) There is additional information in section 10 specific to the U.S. which allows for students under 13 to use the service IF the school is willing to take on the responsibility AND they have parent permission.
