Student assessments are a critical part of the learning process, providing teachers with real-time insight on student progress over the course of a school year. When designed and delivered effectively, assessments equip educators with the data they need to customize individual and group instruction.

Though they are an important part of classroom instruction, Fayette County Public Schools recognizes that assessments can never fully capture the growth and development of our students. Rather, we view assessments as one tool in our education toolbox to evaluate progress, identify gaps in learning, and develop a path forward.
