Data Analysis and Assessment

Purpose

It's All About Kids.

Our district is commitment to high quality teaching and learning and meeting the needs of every student. Following the KDE model for Standards Rollout, our district engages in on-going professional learning around the Opportunity Myth (OM) and Clarity for Learning. As part of this, we have partnered with TNTP to enhance instructional practices through four key commitments: Grade Appropriate Assignments, Strong Instruction, Deep Engagement and High Expectations.

In addition to these district-wide initiatives, our district provides system for which schools request and receive professional learning opportunities that support district shared curriculum initiatives and address school-specific needs (i.e., evidence-based strategies, strategies to support Culturally Responsive Teaching and Learning (CRTL), and standards deconstruction and formative assessment practices.)
