On behalf of the accelerated math committee, we would like to thank you for providing your feedback and expertise on the survey that the Chiefs shared with you.

In response, we will be providing an opportunity to pilot an accelerated 6th grade framework and assessments for the 26-27 school year. ​You will locate these resources on Navigator​ by June 26th. ​This course would be best utilized to prepare students for Algebra 1 in the 8th grade. If you choose to participate, ​w​e will want to know. We are grateful for the feedback you will provide, which will help the committee reflect and make adjustments for the following school year.​

Additionally, survey results highlighted a need for an accelerated 7th grade framework and assessment. We will use the 26–27 school year to develop and refine these resources, ensuring we are ready to implement both the accelerated 6th and 7th​ grade frameworks and assessments for the 27–28 school year.

​A survey will go out at the beginning of the school year to inform the committee of those interested in the 6th grade accelerated course pilot and those interested in working on the accelerated 7th course. We look forward to collaborating with you through this process!
